Armdale Yacht Club (AYC) extends a warm welcome to yachts visiting the Halifax area.

AYC is conveniently located on a bus route, close to marine suppliers and shopping areas, and near the heart of the city of Halifax, NS.  Its Clubhouse sits atop Melville Island which provides a spectacular view of the Northwest Arm.

The facilities of our Club are extended to visiting yacht owners and their guests, and you can learn more about AYC in our Discover AYC brochure.

AYC has guest marinas, and additional marinas are frequently available when our Members are away from the Club.  If there is no room on a marina, or a mooring is preferred, we also have a number of those.  AYC’s Tender Service, which runs on-demand daily until dusk, provides safe passage to and from shore.

Our Staff always work to accommodate all visitors who are welcomed either without a reservation on a first come first served basis, or with a reservation booked ahead of arrival and secured with a credit card.  Our Visitor Fees, Services & Information brochure provides information pertaining to the daily marina and mooring rental rates.  To make advance arrangements for dockage or for related inquiries, visitors may contact our Marine Services Manager by phone at 902.476.2064 (direct line) or 902.476.0475 or by email at dockmaster@armdaleyachtclub.ns.ca.

ARRIVAL AND REGISTRATION

Upon arrival, we ask that all visitors contact the ‘Dockmaster’ on VHF Channel 68 for marina or mooring assignment. At that time visitors will be asked to complete the necessary paperwork and provide payment for their rental.
